Workshops are a great way to learn a whole lot in a very short period of time because you aren’t being taught by some stuffy shirt guy behind a desk. You are being taught by REAL professional photographers in a hands-on “no nonsense” style of teaching. I’ll be bringing in an actual hair and make up artist, as well as a signed model from Tucson to show you what goes into making a shoot successful.
Things covered in this workshop
-Flash studio lighting.
-Briefly covering the Basics of ur camera.
-How to manipulate different lighting situations.
-How to market yourself to your client as well as to your models.
-Building a portfolio. making a team (hairstylists, make up artists, and assistants) and how to do all of this free of cost via the *time for print* or time for disk * TFP – TFD .
-I’ll also be linking you all to my tutorials on youtube for photoshop editing.
“When I first started doing photography, I started out with just a point and shoot camera, practicing on myself and my children. I had to teach myself the good ol fashioned way, through trial and error. Once I started working with other photographers and artists, I saw a dramatic improvement in my work. It made me wish I had had a mentor from the very beginning. That’s what I want to do for you guys.
The two photos below were taken by the same photographer with the same model, same location, same camera even! Just two years apart. After I began working with professionals, my work went leaps and bounds above anything that I had done before.
